Polar Bears International&Edmodo&Cambio Climático 2014-2015

Durante unas TRES(3) semanas y en apenas 16-18 SESIONES de 45 minutos, vamos a realizar con mi tutoría de 2º de primaria y los alumnos/as de 4º de primaria de mi compañero D.Arturo González Díaz una aventura curricular que gire en torno a la preservación de la vida de los Osos Polares del Ártico, la toma de conciencia de un problema global como es el Cambio Climático y finalmente ¿qué medidas reales desde el colegio y la familia podemos realizar para mitigar el mismo?…logrando una defensa del Medio Ambiente en CANARIAS-ESPAÑA.

During three (3) weeks and sixteen (16-18) sessions of 45 minutes, I will make with my 2th grade pupils and 4th grade (Mr Arturo González Díaz) a pedagogic adventure, that revolves around the preservation of life of Polar Bears in the Arctic. I want to make awareness of a global problem, this problem is “Climate Change” and finally, what actual measurements, from the school and the family, can do to mitigate it? … I would like achieving a better environment defense in Canary Islands (SPAIN) and in all the world too,of course. isn´t it ?

Hoy martes 11 de noviembre activamos esta TAREA COMPETENCIAL partiendo de un CRITERIO DE EVALUACIÓN.En esta ocasión lo haremos desde el Área Curricular de Conocimiento del Medio Físico y Social.El nº 1.Reconocer y explicar las relaciones entre algunos factores del medio físico(relieve,suelo,clima) y las formas de vida y actuaciones de las personas a través de la recogida de datos en diferentes fuentes, valorando la adopción de actitudes de respeto por el equilibrio ecológico.

On Tuesday, November 11. I have activated this TASK starting from: EVALUATION CRITERIUM. I will choose the area of Knowledge Curriculum Physical and Social Environment. The No 1: Recognize and explain the relationships between the physical factors (relief, soil, climate) and the lifestyles and actions of people through the collection of data from different sources, evaluating the adoption of an attitude of respect for the ecological balance .

Utilizaremos Edmodo (Aula Virtual) para crear una capeta con todos los recursos necesarios.Desde la Zona Genérica del servidor del centro educativo crearemos una carpeta con los recursos necesarios por si tuviéramos problemas de internet.

I will use Edmodo (virtual classrooms) with my pupils for to create two folders with all the necesary resources .From “Generic Zone School” (server of internet), I will create a folder there, with the necessary resources too, because if we had internet problems,then we can to work there,of course.

Crearemos un CUESTIONARIO DE INVESTIGACIÓN en WORD que cada alumno/a deberá completar y entregar por Edmodo.

I will create a “WORD” document : ” and then, each student will be completed all it. Last, the investigation documents, arrived me, by edmodo.

Realizaremos una Ficha de Seguimiento en determinadas actividades.

We will make a “Document Tracking students” in certain activities.

Realizaremos de manera creativa el logo de POLAR BEARS INTERNATIONAL y lo colgamos en los paneles informativos del pasillo del colegio a modo de compromiso individual.

The students will be done creatively the logo: “POLAR BEARS INTERNATIONAL” and so we can be able to hang this logo in: “information panels hallway ” of my school,as an individual commitment. Isn’t it?…

Realizaremos programas de radio en donde los alumnos expondrán públicamente sus trabajos en programas de radio que serán subidos a la red.Utilizaremos la herramienta: SPREAKER.

We will make radio programs where students present their work publicly on radio . This work will be done with a great pedagogical instrument 2.0 : “spreaker”

Los alumnos de 2º y 4º de primaria aprenderán a utilizar la herramienta pedagógica GOOGLE MAPS ( Street view). Ellos conocerán CHURCHILL ( la capital de los osos polares) en Manitoba- CANADA.

Students of 2th grade and 4th grade will learn to use pedagogical tool :”GOOGLE MAPS (Street view)”. They will know about:”CHURCHILL” (the capital of polar bears) in Manitoba- CANADA 🙂

PRIMERAS SESIONES / FIRST SESSIONS

La primera sesión estará centrada en la introducción, motivación y explicación de la tarea.Desde el aula ordinaria y en formato de TERTULIA DIALÓGICA procederemos.Daremos comienzo con un conjunto de recursos en forma de vídeos o de presentaciones desde la nube de GOOGLE y teniendo EDMODO como herramienta fundamental para presentar toda nuestra ACTIVIDAD, que podrá ser visionada por nuestros alumnos/as desde casa en un feedback continuo.

The first session will focus on the introduction, motivation and explanation of the task. From the ordinary classroom, I proceed to teach about “Dialogue Gathering”(pedagogic resource).I start, with a set of resources in the form of vid, presentations from the cloud of GOOGLE and I taking Edmodo as a fundamental tool, to present all our Education Activity. It may be viewed by our students from home (with their computers) on continuous feedback.

A continuación,desde la SALA MEDUSA del centro el alumno/a iniciará su trabajo realizando un visionado a todos los recursos presentados en dos carpetas (folders) de Edmodo. Cualquier pregunta,sugerencia y incluso añadir nuevos recursos de internet lo harán a través del FORO.

Then from the “MEDUSA ROOM” (computers clasrooms), students begin their work,to must view all resources about two folders in Edmodo. Right?….Any questions or suggestions and even add new resources will find in Internet ,the students publish it in Edmodo Forum.

La próxima semana publicaremos los productos de la tarea (trabajos de investigación de los alumnos). Además publicaremos los trabajos de plástica del proyecto ( emblema de polar bears intenational en el panel del pasillo, juegos,grabaciones de audio y participación en webcast).
