Fifth day at Lake School, Oxford, UK.

Greetings from Oxford!

This Friday we completed the first week of formation learning creative ways of teaching through roleplaying and gamification techniques. Taking as example the  British culture, during this lesson we learnt about how to make one topic actually interesting for our students, making description quiz, competition base-games learning, picture quiz… and a wide range of game-based activities really useful to improve learning.

Later on we were invited to a guided tour to Blenheim palace, the historical fiefdom of the Dukes of Marlborough, the powerfull  Churchill family. Located 30 minutes away from Oxford, this huge complex had many uses, such as residence of the Dukes of Marlborough, war hospital or college. Today it’s still propriety of the Churchill family, famous for being the birthplace of Winston Churchill.

Thank you for reading, see you in the next blog!
