Process

You will work in groups of 3 or 4, one of the members will be the coordinator. Each group will have an island assigned on which you will have to work on. The coordinator will be the person who is in charge of coordinating all the tasks and make sure all members work so that you may do a good job.

At this point you will have the first contact with the information related to the island you've chosen. You may use the following resources:

Once you've finished compiling the information about the different aspects mentioned in the task, you must prepare your presentation, avoiding "copy and past", try to use your own words as far as possible.

Next step is to write two phone conversations. You must phone a hotel and a car rental office. You may record them or show them in class. Have a look at the following site to see different examples of dialogues: hotel, car rental.

Once you've seen all the presentations in class, send a report to the teacher in which you give your opinion about your work and also saying which island you would choose to go on holiday.
