The General Direction of Vocational Training and Adult Education (DGFPEA) of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports of Canary Islands CA has confirmed centers participating in Erasmus+ student mobilities projects providing a financial support. Since that organism’s use of support is recommended to increase the number of mobilities according to the so-called Erasmus+ «Zero Grants».
The IES Puerto de la Cruz – Telesforo Bravo, through the school Erasmus+ Coordination, has decided to use this economic contribution to increase the number of places for mobility trainees during 2014-2015. Thus, we will have the initial 13 mobility workplaces funded by Erasmus+ grants and 2 added traineeships places funded by the DGFPEA, so we can finally have 15 places for student mobilities. The amount of this support will be slightly less than the Erasmus+ budget, but enough to face mobility.
It has been published the Resolution establishing the regulatory bases of the call for grants Erasmus.es, financed by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, under the «Erasmus +» program for student mobility of higher education institutions for the academic year 2014-2015.

Our center was selected to participate for three years in a European KA2 Scholarship Strategic Partnership Project, EUROBALADES. This project consists of nine countries: France (coordinator country), Spain, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Portugal, Turkey, Romania and Belgium.
This project is to spread the natural, cultural and ethnographic heritage of the nine countries through trails; hence the French name EUROBALADES, meaning European Tours.
At the end of these three years, you can visit 27 trails (three per country) virtually, through an application for mobile and tablet, brochures, videos, a digital book …
This week, three teachers at our center (Inma, Laëtitia and Angeles) are gathered in DAX (France), with the other participants to develop a countries roadmap.
French language students, between 12 and 16 years, will participate in this project. In May 2015, a delegation of teachers and students of each of the countries will visit us. In 2016 and 2017, our students visit the Azores Islands (Portugal) and the city of Mozzate (Italy).
