EUROBALADES KA2 Project Meeting in Tenerife

Between 4th and 8th May 2015, our high school, IES Puerto de la Cruz- Telesforo Bravo (Tenerife, Spain), has welcomed 63 representatives, students and teachers, from the eight countries that participate in Eurobalades, a European project included in the category Erasmus+KA2. It has been an intense but pleasing week: all members of our educational community have taken part in different activities, turning this first international meeting of our project into a great success and an unforgettable experience for all of us. Next meeting will be held in Istambul (Turkey) in the last week of September.

Our Erasmus+ KA1 internship students are back!

In the last two weeks our Erasmus+ selected student have returned from their internships on different European countries. These traineeships and integral experiences have been possible by the Erasmus+ KA1 Project for Higher Education in which our high school is involved.

The students selected by the IES Puerto de La Cruz – Telesforo Bravo have performed the work experience in different European cities. These are the countries and cities where our students have passed nine weeks doing their traineeships

  • Malta: There have gone 2 students of Computer Systems Administration and 2 Tourism Guide ones.
  • Germany: In the área of Cologne stayed 3 Web Application Development students. Around the city of Fulda, 1 Automatization and Robotics and 2 Tourism students.
  • Italy: 3 students of Robotics  have worked near the city of Vicenza.map

Now we are absolutely sure they all have had a nice experience and keep on working for the next course projects.

Cologne students visit and internships

As previous years, our school has received students from the Adolf Kolping Berufskolleg (Cologne, Germany). These students, of IT and Media vocational training short cycles, are going to do Erasmus+ KA1 internships in Tenerife during the next two months. IES Puerto de la Cruz, through the Erasmus+ coordination, has done all preparatives, including the search for companies and the arrangement of accommodation and transfers.
