Talented Europe Erasmus+ KA2 Project is ongoing!

CIFP César Manrique and IES Puerto de la Cruz – Telesforo Bravo application for the Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership «Talented Europe» project has been awarded by the SEPIE (Erasmus+ National Agency in Spain) as one of the 15 selected projects in Spain for Higher Education.

This is the new K2 Strategic Partnership project in which development has participated IES Puerto de la Cruz – Telesforo Bravo. The project, under the Erasmus+ Programme, has been coordinated and applied by CIFP César Manrique in 2015 call for proposals. Teachers from the IT Department of our two institutions have hardly worked, with the cooperation of our three european partners, in the design, development and presentation of an idea we firmly believe.

Visit to Eurocultura, our partners in Vicenza, and Dresden (Germany)

Last month of July, one of our teachers and Erasmus+ HE Coordinator, Carlos Manescau López, has done an Erasmus+ mobility in Italy. This experience is included into the KA1 Staff for Training Project. The hosting company, Eurocultura (sited in Vicenza, Italy), is one of our partners in this project. The visit combined the coordination meetings for next year’s cooperation with the job shadowing in different IT companies in the area.

Also, as part of this project, another teacher of IES Puerto de la Cruz – Telesforo Bravo, Carmen Nieves González Francisco, has gone in early July to Dresden (Germany). Her mobility consisted in a 5-days job shadowing in a local company related with automatization and robotics.

Both experiences have been very successful for the teachers, the partners and all the educational community of IES Puerto de la Cruz. They will surely contribute to next years european projects development and teaching innovation.
