Talented Europe Multiplier Event, Santa Cruz, Tenerife

On April 6, 2017 was organised in Santa Cruz de Tenerife Talented Europe multiplier event that was aimed at disseminating and publicizing the project ‘Erasmus+ 2015-1-ES01-KA203-016176’ and also to share the intellectual outputs of the project with a wider audience was. The Multiplier event dubbed ‘Talented Europe Tenerife’ was hosted and organised by CIFP Cesar Manrique and IES Puerto de la Cruz at the Auditorium of Tenerife “Adan Martin”.

All the partners involved into the said project were attending this event. We are here talking about: European Projects Association – EPA, IES Puerto de la Cruz, Technical University of Košice and the University of Bedfordshire.

Talented Europe Project 4th Transnational Meeting held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

The 4th Transnational Meeting for the Talented Europe project (Erasmus+ 2015-1-ES01-KA203-016176) was held at the Centro Integrado de Formación Profesional (CIFP) César Manrique in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain on the 4th and 5th April, 2017.

The main objective of the meeting was to review undertakings and to develop strategies for the next phase of the on-going Talented Europe project, an Erasmus Plus sponsored project which aims at connecting students to employers across Europe with endorsement of their universities and increasing their employability opportunities.

Talented Europe Tenerife

Our center actively collaborates as a partner in the European Erasmus+ KA2 project «Talented Europe«, whose main objective is to develop a computer application to connect companies with talented students from all over Europe. The novelty in this application is that there are academic validators, who certify the talent of the students.

On Thursday, April 6th will be held the #TalentedEuropeTF broadcast event at the Adán Martín Auditorium. We encourage you to participate in this event using the following registration form and also to register on the project website, choosing the appropriate profile (company, student or educational institution) at the address www.talentedeurope.eu.

Erasmus+ KA1 first staff mobility for training 2016-2017

In recent dates, one of our staff teachers, Ana Delia Hernández Hernández –Head of the department of Training and Labor Orientation (FOL)-, has returned from her Erasmus+ KA1 mobility. She has gone through KA1 for higher education staff mobilities for training project for one week, in the city of Prague -Czech Republic-. This formative stay has consisted of the visit of the Barceló hotel chain, knowing first hand the Czech labor market and the Erasmus + student who practices in these hotels.

She has already returned absolutely satisfied with the experience, both in proffessional and personal senses. IES Puerto de la Cruz – Telesforo Bravo congratulates for these possitive experience.

Our 2017 KA1 trainees are already in Europe!

During late March and early April have gone to their destinations the students selected by the IES Puerto de La Cruz – Telesforo Bravos to perform the work experience in different European cities, through 2016-2017 KA1 project for Higher Education and within the Erasmus+ Programme. These are the countries and cities where our students will pass the next nine weeks doing their traineeships:
  • Poland: There will go 2 students of Computer Systems Administration, 1 from Automatization and Robotics and 2 Web / Cross-platform Applications Development ones. The city will be Cracow.
  • Germany: In the área of Berlin will stay 3 Tourist Guide students.
  • Italy: One student of Hsotelry and Tourism will work near the city of Catania, in Sicily. 4 students of Automatization and Robotics are going  to stay in Bologne.
  • Scotland: One student of Cross-Platform Applications Development will work in the city of Edimbourgh.
  • Portugal: In the área of Braga will stay and do his traineeship 1 Tourist Guide student.
