The FEDER Canary Islands Program 2021-2027 was approved by Decision of the European Commission on December 14, 2022, within the framework of the objective of investment in employment and growth, aimed at strengthening the labor market and the economy in outermost regions, such as the case of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands.

Once the territorial diagnosis of application of the program has been carried out, the consideration of the archipelago as an Outermost Region (ORP) at the European level stands out, which results in greater difficulties for trade and transport, and the economic dependence on a small number of products, especially those linked to tourism and its associated services. On the other hand, the challenge of facing the impact of the “floating population” is also present in the region, and is determined by the high number of tourists and overnight stays that occur in the archipelago, as well as by the stability of the high numbers throughout all the months of the year.

The Operational Program is made up of priorities (which correspond to a political objective) and specific objectives, where the different actions are framed. Below are the priorities and objectives that concentrate the majority of actions with an impact on health matters, without prejudice to other incidents that may develop throughout the program:

- Priority: P2A. Green transition -

- Priority: P4A. Social transformation -

- Priority: P4RUP. RUP social transformation -
