Financing of operating aids and expenses linked to public service obligations and contracts in the Outermost Regions.

Cost overruns by health services.

In order to improve social cohesion between the different territories of the region affected by the periphery, the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, receives aid under the 2014-2020 Operational Program FEDER Canarias, designed to compensate for the lesser use of synergies and economies of scale produced in the islands due to the remoteness of the archipelago.

In order to do this, the extra costs derived from the provision of health services in the payroll received by the health center personnel of the seven islands are co-financed.
