Amongst its many duties, the Canarian Agency for Quality Assessment & Accreditation (Agencia Canaria de Calidad Universitaria y Evaluación Educativa - ACCUEE) has been mandated to assess the quality of the university system of the Canary Islands, perform studies that will foster improved quality in teaching and research in the universities located in the Canary Islands, and perform any assessment, certification and accreditation processes deemed necessary within the university sector.

The majority of these activities can only be successfully performed with the collaboration of the following individuals: university teachers who are renowned experts in their fields and experienced quality assurance assessors; students who are undertaking doctoral or master’s degrees, or who are in the final year of a bachelor’s degree; professionals with ample experience; and experts who have training and experience in quality management in the university sector - as set out in the Standards & Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG).

To these ends, the Agency would like to invite all those who are interested in collaborating and being added to the ACCUEE Assessor Repository (Banco de Evaluadores y Evaluadoras) to fill out the online application form that corresponds to their profile:

• ACADEMIC ASSESSOR
• UNIVERSITY STUDENT
• PROFESSIONAL ASSESSOR or EXPERT IN UNIVERSITY QUALITY MANAGEMENT

Applications will be reviewed, and successful applicants will be informed once they are listed in the Assessors Register. The application process remains open all year round. A breakdown of the different stages of the application process can be viewed in the Selection Process infographic.

Participation in any of ACCUEE’s assessment activities implies full acceptance to its Code of Ethics. In addition, the ACCUEE shall cover the payment of salaries and travel expenses relating to its assessment activities.
