Physics and Chemistry (2nd ESO)

One activity that we have carried out in October consisted of reviewing the different phases in which the scientists structure their working practice. In this game, the students got several cards with drawings that referred to the different steps of the Scientific Method. Distributed in teams of 4 members, they had to discover which were the phases that were not represented in these cards. Firstly, they had a 90 seconds time limit to individually observe the images and write down the steps that were missing. Later on, if there wasn’t a consensus, the members of each team could discuss what would be the final answer.

Una de las actividades que hemos realizado en el mes de octubre consistió en repasar las diferentes fases en las que se estructura el método de trabajo de un/a científico/a. En este juego se repartió a l@s estudiantes varios tarjetones con dibujos que hacían referencia a cada una de las fases del método científico. Distribuidos en equipos de 4 miembros, ell@s debían descubrir cuáles eran los pasos que no estaban representados en las tarjetas. Primero tuvieron un límite de tiempo de 90 segundos para observar las imágenes  individualmente y anotar los pasos que creían que faltaban. A continuación, si no había consenso en sus respuestas, disponían de tiempo para discutir en cada equipo cuál sería la respuesta final.
