Discovering the World of Plants Through Experience

Our 4th graders have been working on the exciting topic of plants, and we have discovered that the best way to learn about them is by getting our hands dirty and planting. Over the past few weeks, our students have explored the life cycle of plants, their parts, and their needs to grow healthy and strong. With pots, soil, and seeds in hand, each student has had the opportunity to plant their own, observing firsthand how nature takes its course.
This activity has not only allowed them to apply what they have learned in class but has also fostered respect for the environment and patience as they see how, with time and proper care, their plants begin to grow.
We will continue to monitor the growth of our plants!
